    Our school made Beeswax wraps

These are our own Te Anau School Beeswax wraps - made from a group of children from our Enviroschool team with local beeswax and love! These are an alternative food wrap that are eco friendly, resusable alternative to plastic wrap. Great for wrapping sandwiches, snacks, cheese, bowls...
We have made these wraps to not only reduce the amount of rubbish that is brought into our school, but also as a way of protecting our environment in general. We have made two sizes - small (24cmx24cm) $7 and medium (34cmx34cm) $10. These will be for sale at the South Island Flower show on Saturday May 5th and then after at our school office. The money raised from the sale of these will first go towards purchasing a Leafcutter bee house for our vege garden so we can get more plants pollinated and produce grown and then into other enviromental projects we have planned at school.
