Anyone got any ice-cream containers with lids or larger plastic containers they no longer need? Our enviro group is going to be learning how to make pumpkin soup and we would like the containers to freeze our soup so we can sell it to the children in the winter months. Also if anyone has a couple of old pairs of stockings that we can use would be great - thanks. These can just be dropped into the school office. ... See more
Do you know we have a green thumbs team at our school? This is a group of children who love to get into our vege garden every Thursday lunchtime with Joy Excell. This year they entered some produce into the Flower show and won lots of prizes. The flower show are donating us a new turnable compost bin so the children can have another method of composting. The photos below show some of the winning produce as well as our hot house tomatoes - which we had a bumper crop of cherry tomatoes from. Each class got an ice-cream container full to try and the rest we are making some yummy pickles from. ... See more
